In chemistry, complex (TR:619) is a molecular entity formed by loose association involving two or more component molecular entities (ionic or uncharged), or corresponding chemical species; wherein the bonding between components is normally weaker than in a covalent bond, hence the term "binding", as in "molecular binding" tends to be employed, to distinguish that non-covalent bonding, e.g. van der Waals force interaction is accruing.
