An English-subtitled version of the 1996 Le affinità elettive.
In films, Elective Affinities (original title: Le affinità elettive) is a French-Italian rewrite of German polymath Johann von Goethe’s 1809 novella Elective Affinities by the brothers Paolo Taviani and Vittorio Taviani. [1] The film stars Isabelle Huppert, as Charlotte, Jean-Hugues Anglade, as Edouard, and Marie Gillain, as Ottilia. [2] The film is 98-minutes long and in Italian.
