Standard model

In science, standard model refers to the current knowledge of particle physics, namely the quantum mechanics based theory that includes the theory of strong interactions (quantum chromodynamics) and the unified theory of weak and electromagnetic interactions; which sometimes includes “gravity” even though not part of the “standard model” (the graviton is not yet observed).
