Magnet

In science, magnet (TR:52) is a material, such as a loadstone, iron, alloy, or ore, which has it’s the spin of its electrons oriented in one direction, which produces a magnetic field, thereby giving it the properties of being able to attract other iron-containing objects or aligning itself in an external magnetic field, e.g. a compass.
